Panerai inaugurates its boutique in Lyon
Panerai, the famous Florentine company that combines Swiss know-how and Italian design, announces the opening of its new boutique in Lyon, 8 rue des Archers.
THE TERRITORY'S FOURTH SINGLE-BRAND LOCATION
Lyon, the third largest city in France, has a rich architectural and cultural heritage, from the ancient Roman district of Fourvière to the urban and dynamic district of La Part-Dieu. The city’s dynamism justifies the ideal location for the new Panerai boutique, highlighting the brand’s strategic approach to expanding its presence in key markets. This is its fourth single-brand establishment in the region, after Paris, Strasbourg and Monaco.
“We are delighted to announce the opening of our new boutique in France, which demonstrates the importance of the French market for Panerai. This achievement is a unique blend of Italian design and Swiss technology. The boutique is designed to offer an immersive experience in the world of Panerai, where every element reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and innovation,” says Panerai CEO Jean-Marc Pontroué.
Located at a strategic corner in the heart of a chic district of Lyon, the boutique occupies a
historic building right in the center of the city. With an area of 100 square meters,
with more than 20 linear meters of windows, the design of the store is a
contemporary interpretation of Panerai’s DNA taking visitors into
a sensory journey that combines luxury, heritage, innovation, and discovery.
Urban elements and contemporary materials reflect avant-garde philosophy
and innovative of the House. Deep, luminescent blue tones resonate in
the entire store, evoking the sea depths, a nod to the maritime heritage of the
brand.
A notable feature is the double-sided backlit clock placed at
the exterior, recalling the signature luminescence of the House. A luminescent clock
is also present inside, an evocation of Panerai's history in terms of patents
and luminescent technical solutions for the manufacture of innovative instruments.
Luminescence is also integrated onto the watch dial, highlighting
their technical characteristics and the meticulous know-how of the calibers. The legacy of
brand is reflected in its iconic collections, showcasing a heritage firmly
grounded but forward-looking.
Adding a touch of Italian heritage, the boutique hosts a Bar Italiano, a tribute to the
Italian tradition of the aperitivo where customers are invited to appreciate this art of
conviviality.
"Studio Panerai fully developed the design of the boutique, embodying the
philosophy of innovation and heritage. Every aspect is designed to improve
customer experience by integrating iconic Italian design and emphasizing
technical mastery that our House represents, making this boutique a true
embodiment of Panerai's DNA," says Alvaro Maggini, creative director of Panerai.
