Girard-Perregaux is a Swiss Manufacture of Haute Horlogerie whose origins date back to 1791. The Brand's history is punctuated by legendary watches that combine cutting-edge design and innovative technology, such as the famous Tourbillon sous Trois Ponts d'Or, presented by Constant Girard-Perregaux in 1889 at the Paris Universal Exhibition and awarded the gold medal. With more than 80 patents, Girard-Perregaux is dedicated to the research and development of Haute Horlogerie and remains one of the only Manufactures to bring together under one roof all the watchmaking professions, including the manufacture of the heart of the watch: its movement. In 2013, Girard-Perregaux received numerous awards for its revolutionary Echappement Constant L.M., including the watch industry's most prestigious and coveted prize: the Aiguille d'Or of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève.

MAIER helps you take care of your Girard-Perregaux watch

In order to ensure that your Girard-Perregaux watch will last for many generations, MAIER recommends that you follow a few recommendations. Avoid subjecting your watch to magnetic fields and extreme temperature variations. Do not overexpose your leather strap to water or sunlight. Do not operate the function controls, pushers or crown of your watch under water. After use in salt or chlorinated water, rinse your watch with clean water. Every 3 to 5 years, it is recommended that your Girard-Perregaux watch undergoes in-depth maintenance. Do not hesitate to ask the MAIER watchmakers to do this.
